My name is Rylie 'Ry' Torr, I was born on the 29th of January in the year 1992 and I live in the beautiful and fairly damp city of Guildford in the UK. I've been developing software for the last 7 years, making games since I was 11 and drawing from the moment I could hold a pencil. I love the colour orange and discussing cosmology that I don't really understand. Criterion Games

I haven't updated this for a while! Today I work for the Criterion Games studio in Guildford! It's a wonderful place where we're trying to pioneer good working practices such as avoiding crunch! I started at Criterion during March of 2016 and since then I've worked on the Star Wars Battlefront - Rogue One: X-wing VR Mission and I'm now working on Star Wars Battlefront II's Starfighter Assault mode! I can't wait to see what life at Criterion has in store for the future.

EGX

Just before heading to Birmingham to attend EGX 2015 (which was awesome by the way), I started working on a little mobile puzzle game. I've only produced a few levels to test some ideas but I got some interesting feedback after showing the game to people at EGX. Keep an eye on my blog for more information about future development!

Homegrown Website

This website was designed and developed by myself. I use my own C# tool to parse templates and produce a full HTML output from a set of module files. This allows me to make quick and easy changes to the site whenever I like without having to dig into miles of HTML but I can also deploy my site anywhere without having to install server side tools.

Short. Fast. Entirely Homegrown.
